International Speech & Table Topics Contest 2018/2019

It is the contests that delight us, not the victory.

Trophies were ready. Refreshments were ready to be served. Role players were ready. Venue was all set for the big event, the International Speech & Table Topics Contest 2018/2019. The mega event, where members within the club will showcase the skills they achieved from Toastmasters Education Program. The 22nd day of January 2019 was chosen for the event which falls on the second regular meeting of the club.

When the clock hands moved to 7:15, SAA Head E K Yeo CC, CL called the contest to order and passed over the control to the Contest Chair Shain Anand who was organising such an event for the first time. He welcomed all the dignitaries and all other role playing and non-role playing Toastmasters and other non-Toastmasters who had graced the occasion with their presence. The Chief Judge of the contest was Gerard Peter DTM from KL Advanced Toastmasters Club. As soon as the Organising Chair’s address was over, the SAA took us into the contest mode by handing over the control to the Contest Toastmaster for International Speech Manish Jha IP1.
