Club Officers Installation Night - 22 July, 2014

No one will be on the same position forever. No one will be doing the same things forever. The world will only be improved, the organization will only move forward, with the process of nurturing new team, injecting new blood, bringing in new ideas. As of 30 June, 2014, the EXCO team for the term 2013-2014 was officially "off duty". Starting 1 July, 2014, the EXCO team of the term 2014-2015 will officially be "on-duty" and to continue to lead our flag high in the Toastmasters community.

22 July, 2014 is a very special day for Money Mastery-KL Toastmasters Club members. 22 July was our club's anniversary. It falls on the 4th Tuesday of the month, and we decided to have our club officers installation night on this date.

Our organizing Chair, Ng Ser Kwang, has booked us Barbera Cafe in Bangsar as our venue for the installation. The cafe has a very nice environment where we were given a room. The food was delicious. Thank you Ser Kwang for this nice arrangement.

We were honored to have our Area Governor, Jacy Wee to be our Installation Officer. During her speech, she gave each and everyone of us a minute time for us to say something to express our appreciation to anyone. It was a very warm session that we have had. Thank you Jacy.

 

The session started with our IPP (Immediate Past President), CP Lau, briefing us about the eventful activities we have had last year. It was a fruitful year for us and very proud year for our club. We had Ken Chan as the Division G Governor, Hj. Hashim Adnan as the G3 Governor and CP Lau as the G4 Governor, which G4 had achieved Select Distinguished Area, G3 had achieved President's Distinguished Area and Division G had achieved President's Distinguished Division! Bravo to all whom have helped and contributed to this success!

 

The night was a night full of appreciation. We had our past VPE, Serena Kong appreciated personally by the IPP CP Lau as The Toastmaster of the Year 2013-2014. Congratulations to Serena, and hope that as the President this term, you will lead the club to a new height.

The moment of the night, where all our EXCO members were officially installed offices and will take on the role and challenge to lead the club.

We also celebrated July babies and club's anniversary.

Club's Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests on 8 July 2014

July 2014! This marks the beginning of a new term in Toastmasters calendar and we are starting brand new. We are not only starting with a new term, we are starting with a new team of EXCO, we are going to make changes. In terms of keeping everyone updated on the activities happened, going to happen, we are determined to remove our "bad habit" of "being late". Having said that, we will not forget to continue to appreciate and welcome the guidance and assistance, more so, contribution from the senior members (they are not old, but they are very experience, hence, they are called "senior". :D )

First of all, our club started the term with one of our yearly events, i.e. the Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests on 8 July, 2014.

Credits goes to the organizing team in making sure the availability of venue, role players as well as the readiness of prizes. We have started working since the end of last term and it was a GREAT success for the organizing team, contestants and the winners.

Our club would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all of those whom have landed their helping hands in making sure the success of the contests.

Members, our winners (1st and 2nd place winners) will represent our club and contest at the Area G4 contests, which is to be held on 6 September, 2014. The venue will be the home club of our beloved Area G4 Governor, Jacy Wee, i.e. Money & You KL Toastmasters.
