This is the theme for our club meeting #172 held on Tuesday 28th April, 2009. This is what the President had to say...
"To be inspired and motivated is not easy and to consistently doing it, is even more difficult. Whenever you are inspired, take a small step at a time so that you can stay motivated. After that small step, you will look back and be able to say "I'm still not where I want to be, but I'm not where I was"
Julia Carney said, "Little drops of water, little grains of sand, make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land" Author Louis L'Amour wrote "Victory is not in miles but in inches. Win a little now, hold your ground and later win a lot more." Dale Carnegie said, "Don't be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves."
Never be discouraged when you make progress, no matter how slow or small. Instead, be inspired and stay motivated. The most important thing is to begin, even though the first step is the hardest. I believe that you should care just as much about the small things in your life as the big things. I agree with Vince Lombardi "Inches make champions" Take one small step right now. Don't ignore the small things. Remember, the kite flies because of it's tail. It's the little things that count.
Value the little things. One day you may look back and realise that they were the big things. I hope you are inspired and stay motivated in whatever you do, regardless how small it is.

CONGRATULATIONS TO Marcus Chee, ACB, CL for completing his ACS manual. So now Marcus is an Advance Communicator Silver (ACS)that fulfilled the requirement of 9 points in the Distinguished Club Program thus putting our club once again on the status of President's Distinguished Club for the sixth year running. Bravo and Kudos to all Toastmasters of Money Mastery. Keep up the good work comrades!
TM Hilary Kelechi (KC) did a splendid job as a first time Asst.SAA. He was also the best Table Topic Speaker for the evening. He has improved a lot in his speech and I am sure he will overcome his speech problem in no time soon. Looking forward for his Ice breaker speech in the next meeting.
Well done to Wilson Ten for delivering his ice-breaker speech. Congratulations to Atefeh (Ati) for being a good time keeper for the first time.
Our heartfelt thanks goes to Sandy Tan, CC, for being an appreciative and commendable General Evaluator for the meeting.
It was a very successful and fun filled meeting where we had 11 guests and 20 members
in attendance. We welcome the guests who had pledged to join the club.
SEE YOU AT OUR 7TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (#173) ON TUESDAY 12TH MAY 2009
P.s. My apology for the very late reporting in the blog as I have not been feeling well lately.
