Totally
enriching, at reunion of MMKL-ers
Wonder what,
wherefore, how come & whys
Open eyed
& all ears!
At #454 reunion of MMKL-ers, I felt the sound & peace
while people gathering in the most decorated Toastmasters club in Petaling Jaya,
yes at Money Mastery-KL Toastmasters where a new remarkable day raised,
witnessed the joy & cheerful souls in reds exchanging the kindest heart-warming
greeting for the long waited especial guest coming in few days, It felt like
delightful wind living in between, air filled with love, all around the place,
started with the most repeated phrase of the day ‘’Happy Chinese New Year’’. I
would say it is a totally enriching session.
ASAA Rahman, PM2 ringed the bell & announced the
beginning of new learning episode. The captain of the ship, President KL Loh,
ATMG officiated the meeting, with warmest welcome for all members &
distinguished guests. Pretty much very well words said, I felt the positive goose
bumps listening to his inspiring opening speech, with some recollected messages,
such as
‘’Let us learn & learn & be the promised proficient
public speaker’’.
‘’Let us dig & dig & be engaged to grown the giant
leader in us’’.
Insightful thoughts, ideas sharing, sincere wishes were
amazingly recited by everyone through the introduction session, created a
positive lively atmosphere among us all.
Soon after that, a glorious Lady Minnie Mouse showed up on
the stage. In her most creative couturier and best dressed of the day, Wendy Sim, CC, steered the wheel as Toastmaster of the Evening, sailed
us smoothly in next stations.
Absolutely thrilled minds are
captured in Table Topics™ session, for five brave souls stood up for impromptu
speech challenge, sharing stories & expressed their feeling on the Chinese New
Year festival related interesting questions asked by master of toastmaster.

closer to Nantha and his reasons of becoming a toastmaster.
Curtain opened for enriched
and informative financial speech by the expert banker, the smile maker KT Chok,

by KT. He simplified the difference between assets & liability, and
introduced a practical method of knowing our cash flow if rich or poor. With
message to take home, ‘’Believe in change”, ‘’Believe that money circulates” and “be mindful & choose wisely’’.
Followed by the story of
Demon Nian from the Advance Communication Manual: Storytelling, performed by
philosophical speaker Victor Wan, ACS, ALB. An entertained legendary story
brought us back to the roots origin of Chinese New Year festival. Taught us
lessons such as,
‘’Never give up, always remember
the Nian the dark night is defeated by the aura of people’’. This reminded us
that teamwork, made us stronger and resilience.
Soon after a short break, all members returned with fresh minds, as another interesting fruitful session was due to begin when the General Evaluator Ken Koh, DTM led us though the Evaluation session.

Great houses of speeches been delivered by the speakers,
however the last touch was determined by the intelligent evaluators whom shown
us all the beautifulness of each house , failing the gaps & provided us
with the areas of improvement and make each speech even more brighter, great constructive sharing for the benefit of
the speaker and all the audience.
When the charming TME returned, we came to the
awards session with rains of drums roll raised loudly in club to present the
great achievers of the evening.
