In
the middle of the dusk, the dawn is born!
The
beginning of new decade,
Marks
the dawn of new resolutions and inspirations.
Especially
at the #453 meeting of Money Mastery KL Toastmaster Club,
Where
joy and laughter broke through the night in the middle of PJ town.
The
very first meeting of year 2020 started with Toastmasters reciting their pledges
to the Club.
Energy
and enthusiasm filled the air,
Passions
were fired up and reignited in everyone hearts,
The
always smart looking, Rey Thean, Acting President of the day,
Brought
us through the evolution from the past decade to the start of this new decade,
Reminding
us of the rapid changing world!
Time
is not slowing down,
Dreams
must be followed by actions; and
Support
with belief and perseverance.
New
hope, blessing and resolutions were heard next from everyone through the round
of introduction.
Courage
emerged when 6 super warriors took up the impromptu speech challenge and
overcome fear.
Confidence
were intuited with the presence of CS Ong, PM1 with his assigned speech
“New
Year New Vision” by CS Ong, PM1
"Find the tiny spot and
achieve success to become super star"
"Disrupt old and rotten
habit and construct good ones"
Were
the two important messages to all!
Followed
by “Change or Crumble”, an excellent and informative speech delivered by our handsome
Ken Chan, DTM.
Underlining
the importance of change in managing the past.
And
finally a touching story narrated by our Steadiest Victor Wan, ACS, ALB: “Grab It While
You Still Can”.
A
story of gratitude and cherish,
Reminding
us to always cherish and value time with our parents and all the loved ones.
A
small break is to walk a thousand miles.
After
a short refreshment,
Everyone
returned with zest,
Awaiting
for another important session in every meeting of toastmaster club.
The
Evaluation Session!
Guidance and advice for improvement from sincere hearts were heard not only for the benefit ,of assigned speakers but each and everyone in the club,
Just
like the motto of our club – Friends Helping Friend Succeed.
Last
but not least, the meeting will not be successful without the present of our
General Evaluator and supports from a team of committed role players and two
unsung hero of MMKL Club!
