Governors, our club sponsor & mentor, past presidents, fellow toastmasters
and guests.
Ken thanked all those present for gracing our event and promised an exciting evening. Ken then presented a token of appreciation to KC See.
KC
See took us back to memory lane and related how it all began...
The idea of forming a Toastmasters Club in Kuala Lumpur for Money Mastery graduates was mooted by Gerry Roberts and KC See, the master trainers at the Money Mastery Boot Camps in 2002. They both believed that communication & leadership skills are essential skills to succeed in life. In mid 2002, KC See gathered a group of Money Mastery graduates to witness a demonstration of a Toastmasters meeting conducted by members of Kuala Lumpur Advanced Toastmasters Club and Ernst & Young’s Toastmasters Club, led by Geoff Andrew at the Bankers Club, Kuala Lumpur. Thereafter, this led to the chartering of Money Mastery-KL Toastmasters Club.
KC See was very
impressed with the excellent track records of the club and congratulated the
club members for their efforts. Way to go!
Ken Chan’s address as the Area G1 Governor
and praised the club for being a President’s Distinguished Club since 2003.
Keep it up!
